Here's my spot illustration of an elephant, wearing a fez, smoking a pipe. Everyone said he needed a tattoo. It was either between an anchor (Popeye style) or the Mom tattoo. I went with the Mom tattoo because I though it was funnier. I also decided if he was gonna be sitting in a chair he should have human clothes, so I gave him a wife beater, jeans, and shoes. All in all I'm pretty pleased with the out come.

If anyone remembers last week in class I said I seen and elephant sitting and smoking in a Beastie Boys animation. I had a hard time finding it but this is it. So if your curious to know what I was talking about have a look.

Spot Illustration

Ok here goes. Asian, cell phone, locket, angry, check I think I got them all in there. She could look a little more angry I suppose. I sort of went for an anime style on this one since she Asian and all. She has a very dynamic silhouette which I love. If anyone has any helpful critique before next Tuesday let me hear it.

Fahrenheit 451

My book choice is Fahrenheit 451. This is one of my favorite books. I have also read it several times, both for personal enjoyment and for classes. Anyhow this is what I have so far for the book cover assignment. I learned a new technique to make fire in Photoshop and I think it looks sweet. I need to give the book some detail, and make the edges look more burnt. I am also gonna need to fit in the text. So far I feel it's pretty successful.

Self Portrait

Well I missed school yesterday. I created a self portrait. I think this was the in class assignment.

Killer Robot

The bad guys mass produce these things and send them into battle. Kinda like a B.A.T. if your farmiliar with the G.I. Joe cartoon.
